I think it's a great idea to have a development like this in North Glenora. It has a nice look to it, a definite improvement to what is currently there. I think it will be a boon to the school, and add a good mix of people to the neighbourhood. It would be a good place for my kids to start our owning their first place and start raising a family.

I too am concerned about the parking requirements, especially when on-street parking is expected to be used. When there are snow-clearing days I wonder where the residents will park. But in my opinion that is not enough of a drawback for me to be against the project. I encourage Council to approve the rezoning.

I have concerns around the added density to an already busy corner of the neighbourhood and the impact to the surrounding residents. The proposed design does not match the current block face with access from both the ave and the street. I also have concerns with only providing 8 parking stalls for a facility that has 16 units. This is going to set a precedence in the neighbourhood and open the flood gates of over development.

We are residents of North Glenora and we also support this redevelopment proposal. It would be a shame if the city council decline the rezoning application and potentially kill this project. This new development could mean more affordable housing options for young families/professionals in this good but could be better neighbourhood!

We are residents of North Glenora and are so happy to see this corner develop. We love the contemporary design of the apartments and feel it will be a great addition to the neighbourhood. The scale of the apartment facade fits nicely within the neighbourhood fabric! We can't wait to see this project enter construction.

I'm a resident of North Glenora. I am supportive of this development. Our neighbourhood lacks options for dining and entertainment that don't require driving or walking across a major traffic artery. Moreover, the current building on that site is in a real state of disrepair and would best be replaced. This development has the potential to improve neighbourhood aesthetics and services.

I have concerns about the precedent this would set in regards to the set backs for other properties in the area. As there appears to be multiple properties currently exploring redevelopment, I don't think that an exception to the existing set back requirements should be granted.

We are opposed to multi-family development. Prefer to maintain the single family residences at this location.
