About the Project

The proposed development in Wellington/McArthur Industrial is a 50 unit, six storey supportive housing development at 14125 137 Avenue NW. It will provide continuous support for people who have experienced homelessness, combining subsidized housing with on-site health and social services.

On June 29, 2020, City Council approved the sale of the City-owned land to Homeward Trust for the purpose of building supportive housing. The sale is subject to terms and conditions, including public engagement and rezoning approval.

The City and Homeward Trust are gathering public input on a Good Neighbour Plan and certain built form design elements. The City's Planning Coordination team is also gathering input on the proposed rezoning through a separate engagement process.

We invite community members to provide input through the links above. Your feedback will be captured in a What We Heard Report and posted publicly. Feedback on the rezoning will be summarized for City Council.
