Daly Grove Adaptable Speed Humps Project

Engagement has concluded

Project Update

The City’s Safe Mobility team is now gathering feedback from residents on the Daly Grove adaptable speed hump installation. This project was initiated earlier this year and adaptable speed humps were installed in August 2023.

Residents are invited to share their lived experience with the adaptable speed hump installation, so that the City can understand how they are working. Please take the survey below to share your thoughts. This feedback combined with the engineering team’s technical expertise and any available data will help to determine if the speed humps should be made permanent.

The survey will close on November 14, 2023.

If you have questions about this project, please email saferoads@edmonton.ca. Stay involved by signing up for project updates on the right hand side of this page.

  • CLOSED: This survey has concluded.

Adaptable speed humps were recently installed in the Daly Grove neighbourhood to address speeding and pedestrian safety. Speed humps help to reduce vehicle speeds, increasing community safety and livability for all. Using adaptable measures creates an opportunity to trial new solutions to increase traffic safety.

The adaptable speed humps were installed at the following locations:

    • 39 Street between 21 and 22 Avenue

    • 22 Avenue west of 39 Street

    • 21 Avenue east of 39 Street

The City of Edmonton would like to hear from you about your experience with the adaptable speed humps. The survey will take approximately 5 - 10 minutes to complete depending on how much feedback you would like to share. Your feedback will be used to help us understand how the adaptable speed humps are working in Daly Grove to reduce speeding and increase pedestrian safety and to determine if the speed humps should be made a permanent feature. The survey will remain open until November 14, 2023.
