Alley Renewal is coming to Gold Bar

Gold Bar will see improvements in its aging alleys as part of the City of Edmonton’s Alley Renewal program. Planning for this renewal has just begun.

Alley renewal includes:

Locating or relocating underground utilities
Reconstructing your alley with a hard surface
Improving surface drainage where possible
Upgrading existing alley lighting to LED
Pruning or removing trees/shrubs as necessary ahead of construction
Exploring opportunities for additional improvements if possible

Tell us about your neighbourhood alleys

This survey aims to gather input on how alleys in Gold Bar are used, existing issues or concerns, how they connect to Gold Bar Park and opportunities to improve traffic safety for people walking, rolling or biking. Your feedback will be considered with technical requirements, funding and alignment with City policies and programs to inform the planning and construction of Alley Renewal in Gold Bar.

These engagement activities will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. The engagement opportunity closes at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

Privacy policy

The City of Edmonton recognizes that the privacy and confidentiality of a person's personal information is important. All personal information is managed according to the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. This means that:
