APPLICATION DETAILS

The City has received an application from Situate Inc. to rezone 12021 - Jasper Avenue NW in the Oliver neighborhood. The current zoning is a Direct Development Control Provision (DC1) and the proposed zone is a Direct Control Zone (DC). The purpose of the proposed DC Zone is twofold:

  1. to allow for the continued use an existing high rise tower (Jasper House) within the eastern portion of the site; and

  2. to allow for the development of a new high rise tower within the western portion of the site with the following characteristics:

    • A maximum height of 108 metres (approximately 31 storeys);

    • A maximum tower floor plate of 825 m²; and

    • Vehicular access to remain from 100 Avenue with an underground parkade that will service both the new and existing tower.
