I too appreciate the green space the way it is. I would prefer not to see more traffic in the area and most certainly not another liquor store, church, private school or Tim Hortons.

We also need more information on the applicants.

I agree with others that this is very vague. The city needs to be more upfront with who the applicants are so we can take that into consideration.

Green space is very rare in our community and we do not need another business, private school, gas station, religious assembly or more traffic. As a community I think we are concerned that our voices will not be taken in consideration and that the application will be approved regardless.

I feel that is more beneficial for the residence in the area to have access to green space. To add more traffic and noise would be a nightmare for neighboring homes.

This is very vague. We do enjoy or green space area and will miss the open spaces. My concern is having another strip mall on such an already busy intersection. More garbage and loitering. Will we even know what is planned for here before it is approved. It's hard to know whether to be for it or a against it when you have know idea what is going in there. We don't need another gas station, Tim Horton's or liquor store in the area. Possible a small business with some unique shops would be lovely but that is becoming a thing of the past and covid is not helping with the small business owner.

This area should be left as is for public to use, or turn to more formal park space. It would be a real shame if the area turned into a religion gathering area or a strip mall.

Its really not a large space. Please be a mom and pop coffee/bistro shop!
Tim Hortons, Cannabis's, Liquor etc.. etc... they wouldn't build there. Surprised its not re-zoned for infill.

I very much appreciate being able to view this background and the planning process. I am curious as to what types of businesses fall into the US Zone. Are we looking at a Tim Horton's drive-through, a cannabis store or a child care facility? Where is that information available? Thank you, Cathy Housdorff chousdorff@telus.net

What specific type of business, or real estate is projected to go on this new area?

Would like to understand that urban services does not include retain, service station or restaurant. This type of use would not be acceptable for this area.

watching the 2nd video I thought it provided only a short description of what the rezoning would allow, mainly "for sale of the property for the possible use of mix market and affordable medium density housing". To me this not a a thorough enough explanation of the possible intended land use.
