Redirect - Multi-unit Mandatory Waste Sorting Program - Property Managers, Developers, and Condo Board Members
Engagement has concluded
The City of Edmonton approved The Future of Waste, Edmonton’s 25-year Waste Strategy in 2019. The Strategy sets ambitious targets for keeping waste out of the landfill. The multi-unit sector will play a big role in helping the City achieve those targets. Separating food scraps and recycling from the rest of the garbage will have a big impact.
With public events postponed and physical distancing a priority during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are committed to delivering project information and meaningful online public engagement opportunities.
Note: This engagement is specifically geared towards properties with Residential Bin Collection services. Residential Curbside Collection is not the focus of current engagement, and more information will be provided about Cart Rollout in 2021.
