A place to learn land ethic. Hire First Nations to teach respect and how to restore and treat our valley with honour.

Snow removal and not much else

Would be great if the paths were groomed a bit. Maybe this does happen but I went today and it was tough going with all the snow. I love that this area is nice and quiet. I would hate for it to turn into a busy area with a dog park and loads more picnic sites (I think there are plenty). We have a really heavy canoe and would love to be able to drive a bit closer for a boat launch! Otherwise I really love this park for how peaceful it is.

More trees and species that traditionally survive in our area.

With all the open space, it would be nice to have a series of safety berms or a long dugout to accomodate bows or slingshots

Please keep this area as natural as possible and add minimal amenities.

Parking needs to be considered on both sides. People fish here, and use the trails on either side of the river to walk, bike. This would be a great spot to be able to launch a canoe, kayak, etc (dock?). Maybe some additional interpretative and wayfinding signs, and a safe washroom (and emergency phone). If there was a place for food trucks for the occasional Sunday in the park type of low key activity, that might work. Otherwise, please don't overdo the human "improvements". Thank you

Honestly just adding anything but a golf course would be appreciated! A dedicated dog space, either an enclosed dog park or an off leash area/section of trail would be great. More varied selection of walking or biking trails would be a good starting place. Options for winter sports like snowshoeing or cross country skiing and skating.
