Wild Rose Street Lab

Engagement has concluded

A Vision Zero Street Lab, which uses adaptable traffic calming measures to increase street safety, is being explored in Wild Rose!

Share Your Experiences

We want to hear perspectives from people who use all modes of transportation to get around the community.

Residents play an ADVISORY role in this project, meaning the City will be collecting their lived experience and insight into what the street safety issues are in the neighbourhood.

Get involved using the following methods:

  • Provide feedback on the interactive map open May 22- June 12, 2024 below.

  • Take the online survey open May 22 - June 12, 2024.

  • Attend the in-person engagement event on Monday, May 27, at Father Michael Troy Catholic Jr High. Register on Eventbrite.

How Your Insights will be Used

Feedback shared will be used to determine if this neighbourhood is best suited for a Street Lab, and a What We Heard report will be posted on Vision Zero Street Labs webpage.

If a Street Lab is the best fit for your neighbourhood, City staff will use their engineering expertise, with your feedback in mind, to determine what adaptable measures will have the greatest impact in the neighbourhood.

If a Street Lab is not the best fit for your neighbourhood, another Safe Mobility program may be recommended.
