Direct Control Zones Forum
Direct Control zones (DC1 and DC2) are currently used to allow development where it cannot be accommodated by a standard zone. The new Zoning Bylaw will allow more flexibility within standard zones to decrease the number of Direct Control zones that are required, making it easier to grow Edmonton according to the goals and directions outlined in ConnectEdmonton and The Draft City Plan.
